During the month of March, the Mental Health Caregiver and caregiving will be the focus on the blog. We want to shine light on these amazing heroes, provide a place where they can feel understood, and share wellness and self-care information that can be useful when managing through a health crisis of any kind. There are times when we all feel Far From Paradise; we’re here to help you find your way back!
If you would like to share your story, wellness thoughts or other information related to mental health caregivers or caregiving, please let me know! I’d love to have your input and share it out with the rest of the Far From Paradise Community!
Please see the FOLLOW ME links over there on the right side bar and connect with me on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date and part of this conversation!
I am also hosting a March Instagram Challenge with the Caregiving theme – join us and participate in the #JustForMe Challenge – connect with me through Instagram for more information!
Great subject! I loved the video, very clear and great to get to know you a bit better.
I can’t seem to keep up with the special days and months, and their various causes. It’s interesting this is Mental Health Caregiver month, as I have worked in this and related fields in the past. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and an associate’s in speech therapy (and a master’s in educational technology, and working on my doctor of education degree right now). At various times between 2003 to 2008, I worked as a Behavioral Health Professional, a Family Service Advocate, a Crisis Counselor, and Speech-Developmental Therapist. I look forward to reading and following your blog posts this month!
Glad that you are sharing this video and your story with all of us! This is a great way to bring light to caregivers, providing a safe place to share.
Thank you Alison!
